Occupational safety management and preventing industrial injuries are key issues for Russia, given the country’s accelerated growth rates in industrial production and technological modernization in recent years. Today, there is strong demand from major corporations for comprehensive diagnostic measures, preventive examinations at the workplace, the preparation of health cards for organizations, and the creation of personalized programmes. Some employers are developing their own systems to collect and transmit medical data to their in-house or external medical institutions. How is the employer’s understanding of employee health changing and why is the emphasis increasingly shifting towards managing people’s well-being within corporate teams and groups? How should corporate strategies aim to enhance employees’ commitment to preventive care and help reduce the spread of chronic socially significant diseases? How can a health-conscious environment that monitors and manages risk factors be created in the workplace? What health-preserving technologies could be integrated into corporate programmes to create incentives for a healthy lifestyle at work? What effective practices do major corporations use to improve the health of workers, and how can this experience be scaled up?
