Excursion itinerary:
• EndoOnco Russian-Japanese Expert Class Centre – gastrointestinal tract research.
• CyberKnife Stereotactic Radiosurgery – capabilities of stereotactic radiosurgery for treatment without a scalpel and incisions of tumours of the head and neck organs with complex localization using the CyberKnife device.
• International reference centre for molecular genetic, immunohistochemical, and pathomorphological studies. The ARIADNA platform was developed in cooperation with scientists and doctors from the National Medical Research Radiological Centre of the Russian Ministry of Health.
• Carcinomatosis Treatment Centre – the only centre of its kind in Russia that uses the PIPAC method was built at the Herzen Moscow Oncology Research Institute. The institute’s specialists developed and patented a unique nozzle that serves as a device for the high-quality dispersion of drugs. The invention helped replace imported supplies of a similar device.
