The latest scientific advances are actively being integrated into rehabilitation medicine today. Innovative diagnostic and treatment methods as well as modern equipment – from massive stationary units to portable home devices – are all being put into practice. Such modernization has resulted in significant improvements in rehabilitation therapy. Revolutionary changes are taking place thanks to the active use of advanced technologies: artificial intelligence systems, virtual reality technologies, and modern digital solutions. Another priority is to establish hi-tech rehab centres for special military operation veterans, where an interdisciplinary approach is used to treat both physical injuries and psychological trauma. How can we ensure a full return to an active lifestyle after an illness or injury? How can we promote public awareness about the opportunities offered by rehabilitation medicine, including medicine that is that provided through the compulsory medical insurance system? What innovative solutions help people with special needs adapt to society? Why is a comprehensive approach from specialists in various fields crucial to a successful recovery?
