The implementation of the federal project ‘Fighting Cancer’ has demonstrated undeniable successes and results in the modernization of medical care for cancer patients. By improving the regulatory framework, optimizing patient routing processes, equipping healthcare institutions with modern equipment, developing telemedicine, and increasing the availability of innovative medicines, these achievements were able to improve the quality and efficiency in the fight against the most common types of cancer, including breast cancer. The rapid development of medical technologies, cancer surgery and breakthrough opportunities in the field of personalized drug therapy make it possible today to achieve high treatment efficacy and survival rates of up to 80–98%, provided that the disease is detected early or pre-symptomatic, with quality rehabilitation and adherence to a healthy lifestyle. Cancer awareness, systematic prevention and diagnostics contribute to timely diagnosis of breast cancer and its successful treatment with preservation of a high quality of life for patients who have undergone therapy.
